Thank you for your interest in the Exercise and Muscle Blood Flow Study! We are studying the effects of exercise on blood flow among people with excess body fat. If you qualify and complete the study, you will be compensated up to $300.

Having excess body fat can have negative effects on blood flow. In people with excess body fat, blood flow is impacted by having a build up of free radicals, which are substances produced during normal metabolism. This build up of free radicals leads to a problem known as oxidative stress that affects blood flow. Performing regular exercise can improve blood flow in people with excess body fat by clearing the excess free radicals. A better understanding of how oxidative stress is alleviated by exercise training can lead to better treatments of diseases that affect individuals with excess body fat, including cardiovascular diseases.

Please answer the following questions to determine if you are eligible for the study. A member of the research team will contact you if you meet the study criteria. Thank you for your time!
